PFLAG NYC makes life better for LGBTQ+ people and aims to ensure that LGBTQ+ young people can find support and affirmation in every aspect of life. PFLAG NYC offers programs in three primary areas: (A) Support Services to help families stay close and keep relationships strong when a loved one comes out; (B) Safe Schools programs to work with educators and students to create school environments where all young people can thrive; and (C) community outreach and education to raise awareness and understanding of LGBTQ+ issues in the general public so that LGBTQ+ people of all ages can secure equal civil rights and look forward to bright and successful futures.
