March is Women's History Month, an annual celebration and recognition of women's achievements and contributions to society throughout American history. The 2026 theme for Women's History Month is “Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future”, celebrating the diverse contributions of women who are leading sustainability efforts across environmental, economic, educational, and social justice movements. The following organizations are supporting and recognizing the importance of women's contributions to all facets of American society through education, advocacy, and direct services.

Inspire, educate, and champion girls, women and non-binary people, with a special focus on historically underrepresented groups, to become changemakers in tech. Girls Who Code works to close the gender gap in tech and change the perception of what a person in tech looks like and does.

National Women's History Museum
