charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations.

We inspire giving and empower others to fundraise for sustainable water solutions. We use local partners on the ground to build and implement the projects. Then, we prove every single project funded, using GPS coordinates, photos and stories from the field.

We envision the day when everyone in the world can take a safe drink of water. It is easy to take for granted ready access to a safe supply of drinking water. Yet nearly one billion people lack this most basic commodity. Creating accessible, safe water supplies in developing countries liberates people to live healthier, fuller, more productive lives.

Water For People

Water For People exists to promote the development of high quality drinking water and sanitation services, accessible to all, and sustained by strong communities, businesses, and governments.

We envision a world where every person has access to reliable and safe drinking water and sanitation.

Water For People works across 30 districts within nine countries in Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
