Bird Observer Inc

Bird Observer is a New England-based bimonthly journal for birders. We are a nonprofit organization supported by subscribers, and staffed by volunteers. We publish original articles on birding locations, on avian populations and natural history, on regional rarities, book reviews and field notes, bird sightings for Massachusetts, photographs, and artwork.

Massachusetts Land Trust Coalition

The Massachusetts Land Trust Coalition's mission is to ensure that land conservation organizations, landowners and communities have the capacity, training and resources necessary to protect and care for the places that make Massachusetts special. MLTC provides services to increase the effectiveness of land conservation organizations across the Commonwealth, so that open space will be close and accessible to every citizen.

Brookline Bird Club Inc

The Brookline Bird Club, commonly known as the BBC, is the largest and one of the oldest of the many bird clubs in Massachusetts. Membership is opened to all who are interested in birds and nature. (A membership form can be found here or on the last page of the BBC bulletin or “bluebook”.) The Club sponsors an active program of year-round field trips, covering the entire state of Massachusetts from the Berkshires to Stellwagen Bank. During the peak of spring migration, walks are scheduled for every day of the week. Three evening meetings are held each year, one in the fall and winter with the annual meeting being held each year in the spring. Guests are always welcome on Club walks and at Club meetings.

A special tradition of Club trips has been to encourage new birders, both young and old, to learn about birds and the pleasures of birding through active participation in seeking and identifying birds in various habitats, during all seasons of the year. A number of world-class trip leaders and ornithologists started birding with the Club in their childhood years.

Commonwealth Zoological Corporation

Zoo New England manages Franklin Park Zoo in Boston and Stone Zoo in Stoneham, Massachusetts. Zoo New England's mission is to inspire people to protect and sustain the natural world for future generations by creating fun and engaging experiences that integrate wildlife and conservation programs, research and education.

Massachusetts Audubon Society, Inc.

The mission of the Mass Audubon is to protect the nature of Massachusetts for people and for wildlife. We serve as a leader and a catalyst for conservation, by acting directly to protect the nature of Massachusetts and by stimulating individual and institutional action through conservation, education, and advocacy.
